Does anyone have the recipe for spoon apple kugel from years ago. I think it was on kosherscoop.com. I used to make it all the time and I can't find my recipe.

Same. That's the recipe I'm looking for. Maybe someone that has Pinterest can open it and post the recipe. It's really easy and very yummy!

It’s just a link to the website that doesn’t work. The recipe isn’t on Pinterest Sad

Is it the apple kugel from kosher palette with apricot jam in the apples and a batter poured on top?

I googled it, you got me curious! The picture that comes up actually looks like my mother in law's apple kugel. Her recipe is

6 apples, peeled and chunked

Dough:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1 1/2 flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs

Place apples in pyrex pie dish, spread dough over it (it's a thick dough)
Bake 350 for 1 hour

Thanks. From the recipe name I assume it's less cakey and best served as dessert, vs. a keep on the counter cake?

Yes (or as a side dish for those who like sweet kugel)

Thank you. It's probably similar but the apples were sliced. The batter was thick but pourable.

What kind of apples do you use? And there’s no dough on the bottom?
