B"h my oldest granddaughter will have her bas mitzvah soon.
B"h I have many granddaughters and was thinking to start giving a personal gift and give one to each when reaches 12 but not sure what.
Other than jewelry what would be nice and meaningful?
Any suggestions?

My grandmother gave me a leather tehillim with my name. I probably only used it once or twice but the sentimental value stayed with me, and it's one of the only religious things on my personal bookshelf.

My savta gave me candlesticks for my bat mitzvah.
On the other hand you know you're grandkids best. Maybe they'd appreciate a personal non standard gift.

You know your granddaughters. If they're learners, get them a Torah Shleima set of chumashim or Kehati mishnayot. Otherwise, a leather-bound set of machzorim is a nice keepsake.
