Boil water. Pour over 1/2 cup plain nuts (unroasted unsalted cashews are best) and let sit and soften for a couple hours. Drain nuts, blend with a cup of water in food processor or blender until smooth.

If you have a high speed blender like a vitamix, you can just blend the nuts and water directly without boiling or waiting a few hours for the nuts to soften.

You can use another parve milk that is thinner, just use a little less than what the recipe calls for so it's not too watery.

Broccolli or cauliflower kugel
Put half a cup lite mayo
3 eggs
Onion or chicken soup mix
You can add some other spices if you like salt/pepper/garlic powder/onion powder if you don't have soup mix or if you like it in addition.

It's dietetic too
