I watch from my front door or yard. The boys roam freely. I have seen enough to know that an adult needs to be outside. I have seen boys in this age range run after moving vehicles and talk with strangers and walk with them. They have also stopped passing cars. When in a group setting they cheer each other on. It doesn't happen often but all it takes is a second. I walk over to my boys and redirect them to start a game or come home.

Just because the street, neighborhood is populated by frum yidden doesn't mean that everyone there is stable. An adult walked over to my son and slapped him. Another time he came over to a group of children playing and started telling children off. They were not near his house and his child was not in the group. He also will stop anyone and start talking to them.
