I would first look for a family room but if not available then I would say 7/8.

This is when I love the places that have family bathrooms. I'm usually with a stroller and child and can't use the regular bathrooms as it gets really complicated. Otherwise I often just use the disabled bathroom.

In general, I agree. Do what you have to do to be safe.
I don't agree to extrapolating the rule to situations where there is nudity. I love swimming, but I had to give up going to my local JCC. They had separate hours for women, but the locker room was constantly filled with little boys pointing and giggling.
