I forgot if I'm supposed to light two candles erev yom kippur or my usual number of candles that I light on Friday? I think I remember only 2, different than Friday, but am I doing it wrong?

Bc you have to light havdallah from an existing flame. Technically you could leave your oven on all Yom tov and light from that.

Shabbos candles that you say the bracha on, reg amount that you do every shabbos and yt.

In addition, a one day candle is supposed to be lit. Some ppl light one in shul too. Also, some light one in the bedroom as a "reminder".

And then, for parents who were niftar, that's separate.
