I live in an area with tons of mosquitoes. I hope to have a professional company spray next year however what do you all do to handle mosquitoes in very buggy areas? Is there something that is tried and tested. All advise welcome!

Yes!
On chol hamoed I can light citronella candles I guess (I've never tried that, would love feedback on that as well) but what do people do for the men sleeping in sukka? Just trying to plan in advance.

We spray the area before we put up our sukkah (you can buy from Lowe’s, Home Depot; it attaches to your hose). We also use yellow lights instead of white. And we have a bug zapper situated a few feet from the sukkah.
But it still doesn’t help 100% for the hot and humid years…
Hatzlacha!

Why can't you light them on Yom Tov? Or at least before Yom Tov? You should have a flame going anyway.

Seems like a fire hazard to have them going the entire night unattended and you cannot extinguish a flame on Yom Tov. Most citronella candles come large enough to burn for many hours.

This.
Also saw what you posted but amazon doesn't have good reviews. Any other ideas?

You can buy citronella candles the size of tea lights so they don’t burn too long.
We have a bug zapper. You have to put it far enough away that it isn’t attracting more buds to the succah.
Some led lights are less likely to attract bugs do better to use in succah.
