Suppose we have space for 1 full and 1 twin.

What's a reasonably-priced choice of beds? We're in Passaic, but would be fine with ordering online.

Looking for comfortable beds, but not too steeply priced.

I was really happy with Friedman's Bedding in Lakewood. Cheaper than the other stores I priced out, and so easy to work with.

I would do both beds the same size, the room looks more symmetrical that way. Maybe consider 2 48” beds? You would just need to get fitted sheets for a frum linen store

I believe there’s also a 44” mattress option. You’ll need custom headboards and sheets but it would be more comfortable than twin size.

I would not put two different size beds. That’s just weird in a guest room.

It would be unusual. But not bad weird if you ask me. Actually I would probably be happy that I could have a roomy bed to share if tahor. Do most people prefer visual symmetry over the option to have a roomy bed?

Yeah I would also put in two 44 or 48 if possible-
Another vote for Friedman for mattresses

In a guest room, yes, I'd rather have a nicer even looking room. Hosts don't have to make sure that the bed is big enough for a couple to share.

Agree. Not to mention that not all guests are married couples.

I actually ended up with a full and twin bed in the same guest room. Totally not in purpose. I don't think I would purposely do that but it doesn't bother me that much.
My other guest room right next to it has 2 full sized. So this works well for a family actually instead of two twin sized beds in that second room.
But friendmans is a reliable easy to work with store. As are many Lakewood stores. I would call a couple they tell you the best options that most people buy for guest rooms and prices. And you choose!
