There are specially formulated powders with only certain pigments and no oils that are applied with all separate brushes, no mixing, on a clean face. The hashgacha for them come along with application instructions which need to be followed in order to be kosher. Blush would go directly on clean face, not on top of face powder, face powder only on other parts of the clean face. Lip color is also powder.

I never said all poskim hold it's an issue. We just reiterating what another poster said and explaining what part of it people have an issue with, and that it's important to ask your Rav.
Everyone should follow what their Rav tells them is muttar and assur.

And ask if you can use powder foundation after you dip.
I don’t know when ur going but here’s what I do if I have to go right after Shabbos or in middle of yt:
-powder foundation
-blush
-lipstick that doesn’t stay
-“eyeliner” dip a thin eyeshadow brush into water and then into your darkest eyeshadow color. Apply as you would a eyeliner.
This washes off easily with water. |
I thought you wouldn’t be allowed to draw a line for eyeliner. These are great ideas though
