I am in touch with a therapist who is only available in the morning, which means that my child will miss class every week.
Is this common?

Mine does, twice a week out of school and 3-4 times in school. They’re young so it’s ok so far. As they get older we will reevaluate. BH the child is smart so catches up with the class quickly.

As a teacher I've seen it quite a few times. Try to coordinate with the school so they're missing less important classes (maybe even specialties)

Mine does. It helps him for the rest of the week that he’s in class so it’s well worth it
