Where can I take my kids locally (Brooklyn or Manhattan) on chol hamoed that don't require a vaccine?? Kids ages 2-10. My kids wanted to go to chuky cheese but I just looked up online and see you need to be vaccinated....any similar places? They like action.... (Although I did look up the zoos here even though that's more low key- better then nothing, and vaccines are required to). Any ideas?

I’m Pretty sure if your children are too young to be vaccinated you could go places . It would be 12 and up kids that are not vaccinated that would have an issue be. They can be.

Not exactly, because they would need to be accompanied by a vaccinated adult.

You can leave the 5 boroughs of NYC (out of Brooklyn, Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, Staten Island).

Hmm maybe Luna park would work for one day. Need to look up how much it cost. NJ science center is an idea to if it's accessible by train and depending how long it will take to get there.

Thanks

Thanks

Dh is going to be working so I will be going alone. I don't know if I'm brave enough to take the kids on either of those by myself....maybe hiking if it's easy.

Good idea but I need to be able to get there by train or bus. Dh has one car he's going to take to work and our other one is in for repairs now...

Maybe a ferry ride? You can definitely access that on public transportation.

if the adult isn't vaccinated, you have to stick to outdoor places.

Good idea, we went on the ferry a lot of times so kids won't be thrilled, but at least I'll get them out of the house....maybe I can try to invite some cousins to come along to make it more fun.
