My objection to potato kugel isn’t the salt or lack thereof; it’s the work. I don’t want to hear about S-blades; there’s nothing like hand grating with a good old fashioned flat grater for the best texture. But it’s slave labor. If I can get a willing slave to do the grating, I make kugel. Or latkes, same thing. Otherwise, sorry, Charlie.

I actually prefer the texture of food processor kugel.
