I was in Junee and found 2 nice knit type long skirts
I brought them home but can I really wear them?
They’re from their new plus line and fit well
But will I look “off”?

If it looks good on you why would you even question it?

Depending on the body type, some people look more boxy and squat in short skirts. I prefer long, always.

My really good friend is plus size and almost never wears short skirts, long skirts are a lot more flattering to her.
My mother in law is plus size as well but looks great in both short skirts and long skirts, she figured out how to dress to her body type.

It has more to do with your height than your width, honestly.

If you're quite short, you have to be careful to make the skirt proportionate both in style and length. Which is not to say that you can't wear a long skirt. As others have said, they're much more flattering and practical. You just have to check the style more carefully before deciding where to hem it. You don't want to look like you're smuggling a gas range under there.

If you're normal height or on the tall side, a longer skirt will definitely be more flattering.

I'm actually a fan of many of the Junee's skirts for plus-size women because they avoid extra fabric bunched up at the waist. I, for one, have plenty already bunching up at my waist. I don't want my skirt to get in on the act, too!

Fashion doesn’t equal flattering. Lots of people choose stylish clothing that looks terrible on them. I don’t see why long skirts specifically would be a problem but do you have someone in real life you can ask? Every piece fits every person different, it’s something you need to decide when you try it on and look in the mirror.

I am plus size, queen size, empress size, whatever you want to call it (I'm very short, too), and I **LOVE** wearing long skirts. If you like it - wear it!
