Looks like my husband (who has been in the hospital for the past 3 weeks) is going to be sent to Kessler Rehab in West Orange, NJ. Does anyone here know someone who was there? I am looking for guidance on how it works for family on Shabbos/Yom Tov. Is there a place nearby to stay or would I need to rent a hotel room? What about food? Is there a Bikur Cholim kind of thing there? Any advice would be so helpful. PM me for my contact info. Thanks!

My relative was there a few years ago. I think there was a place to stay but I don't remember details.

Do you feel comfortable/have the ability to try calling Rabbi Stone from nearby shul? 8628889181
If not, I can try to track down the info for you

I know someone that was there, but at that point nobody was allowed to stay with her and she was allowed visitors twice a week for an hour.

I don’t know the answers to your questions and I’m sorry you’re going through this, but I do know that Kessler is supposed to be an excellent rehab.

It was recommended to us when we were looking for a place for a family member this summer.

My he have a refuah Shelaima hand may everything work out well with the YT arrangements.

Can you call chesed 24/7 for more info?

Try reaching out to the folks at Beit Knesset Zichron Dovid, Joe Rozehzadeh at 973-941-5304 (article on them https://jewishlink.news/commun.....ollel). I believe they have a bikur cholim room. Also, try AABD&J if you didn't already contact them: (973) 736-1407. Good luck.
