Various family members have been suffering from small itchy bites for the last few weeks. All bites are on the legs and ankles, mostly mid-thigh and down (and toddler has on abdomen, too).
Today I pulled a TEENY TINY bug off toddler's skin. It looks similar shape to a tick, but very pale in color, and I found it in general area as the new bites.
We live in Central NJ.
I don't see any evidence of bedbugs on sheets or beds. Also just read that bedbugs don't latch on to the skin and stay there, but chiggers can.
Does anyone have experience with chigger bites?
