Honestly at that age it’s more for you than for her. I’d walk around a beautiful place, like domino park. Or Central Park. Or the high line. Or Little Island. Baby doesn’t need much at this age. But you definitely don’t need to spend $ either

Sounds nice!! Is it stroller friendly? How long can you spend there? Are there other things to do there besides the actual falls? TIA!!

We did the Lyndhurst Mansion today. It was $20 for the grounds, for the day. We didn't go into the main mansion (children need a negative covid test to get tour tickets) but we roamed the grounds and spent a few hours there. The kids had fun and it was beautiful weather.

Battleview orchards (freehold,Nj) doesn’t charge entrance fees. You pay$4 for hay rides and then for any apples (or pumpkin) you pick. Really beautiful outing!
American dream mall has a sukkah and kosher foods and is a great mall to walk around. Rn the aquarium has a groupon for $23 pp, but not sure it’s worth the money.
Bradley beach is a favorite. Walk on the boardwalk, bring bikes or might be able to find some to rent in long branch. Used to have family bikes where multiple ppl could bike together at asbury park cycery, but not since covid began. Bring along a niece or nephew who wants to watch the baby while you go for a walk by yourselves. Deal is very close and has pizza and other good food. Sukkah in nearby souls in deal or a big one in long branch. Also ice cream on the boardwalk in asbury park (coney waffle).

Ferry around the city. It’s the same price as bus/train and you get nice views. You can choose where to start and end and find something in one of those areas.
