My son's third birthday is on a Friday. We usually celebrate the halake/upshernish on their third birthday. What should I do? I'm thinking of only doing something small on Friday and doing a party on Sunday.

We did the party Thursday night and went to the barber and to cheder on Friday

My sons upsherin was now a day after y’k. So we did small event since we had to rush to take him to cheder. Then shabbos morning we did a kiddish. Was absolutely beautiful bh!
