Not true. Only tight headcoverings stay on. The head is only velcro like immediately after you shave. Most women don't shave every day.

Mine is velcro for at least one week. The next week things don't slip. They start slipping by 3 weeks for me and that's when I shave again. It's different for everyone but certainly easier than hair.

When it's cold: Pashminas tied like a turban, meaning the knot on top of the head.
Otherwise I use a square scarf folded into a triangle, with the top folded over twice so it's more secure.
