It’s condensed pomegranate juice. If you can’t find it, you can use pomegranate syrup (which is basically the same thing) or pomegranate juice and a little bit of sugar. Or you can make your own.

I made my own before rh because I couldn’t find any kosher in stores and needed for a recipe. I use a big bottle of Pom, about 2T coconut sugar and 2T fresh lemon juice. Basically just cooked it down until it was syrupy

I call it a pomegranate reduction, tastes amazing over steak and mashed potatoes. It's pomegranate juice and some honey simmered down to a glaze

You can get it on Amazon if you’re having trouble finding it. It has a sour syrupy taste. I’d replace with a combination of molasses and balsamic vinegar, or even molasses and lemon juice, if you can’t get it (depending on the recipe).
