Interested in a light and funny thread!

Weirdest baby names I’ve recently heard of:
G-d (without the dash obviously)
Satan
Rowdy (with an older brother named Howdy)
Cyanide
Window (with the middle name Coverings. Seriously)
Stalin
Lemon
ESPN (not making this up)

Share the funny/weird names you’ve heard!

Female. Pronounced fem-al-ee

The mother saw it written on the birth certificate and just thought someone had named her daughter for her, and didn’t want to change it since she loved it so much.

Couldn’t make this up if I tried..

I was in a store and heard them saying on the speaker "Hashem, cleanup needed in aisle 4, Hashem-cleanup in aisle 4". My daughter and I just stared at each other haha.

That was almost certainly a nickname for Ruchy or Bruchy. Probably a little sibling couldn't pronounce it right.

A colleague of a good friend of mine in Israel had twins and named the boy Ben ("boy") and the girl Bat ("girl").
If I hadn't met them in person I probably would not believe it.

Names fascinate me but what’s wrong with naming your baby Rachel or whatever? Charlotte if you’re feeling fancy. People are so nuts. Why the need to make stuff up?? Have some rachmanus on your children!

I know a woman (not Jewish) who was going to name her baby Big Mistake - I don't think she did - but they would've called him Big

I know a man (not Jewish) whos name was Never and middle name was Again

I know some Jewish ones but I can't write them here because you never know who's reading it
