It is still there, just no live people answering.
I am guessing here that with google people just started googling the most common answers, the amount of traffic dwindled and it stopped being worthwhile paying people to sit an answer questions. I have a few relatives who worked for them in the past.

That site saved my life as a teen. Not exaggerating. They were there for me when no one else was. My online family. I owe them everything.

Yet in shamayim they’ll see how worth it it really was. They will all be paid handsomely. Every single one of them. They didn’t just answer questions. They built connections. They saved lives.
