Actually I can also put you in touch with an avreich who learns there....I guess I have a few connections but those 2 are the best bet to get a current perspective.

It's small so I don't know much. But my impression is that its for good boys who for whatever reason, want something more small and personal than a big place like Ner Yisrael.

That I don't know. I've never sent a kid there. Can you ask Rabbi Hoffman or Rabbi Rosenbaum for more specifics?
