Does he/she go to playgroup? Can Morah do it? Works better than online recommendation...

No no no!
Yes I know she's a very special lady, I know it all. Do not send there overnight or for more than 2-3 hours.

Don’t send to an overnight babysitter. Causes trauma and attachment issues. I can’t even understand the concept at all and why it’s considered a normal thing to do in some communities. Send to a relative or someone that she knows well in her life. Not to a stranger and definitely not for overnight!

I dont have this option. family doesnt want to take.

Then don’t go away. It’s really unfair to your child. Is it an emergency? I don’t have anyone to take my kids either and so I don’t go away or take them with me. It’s really traumatic to do this to a toddler. Do you know what type of care your child is getting?

If your not videoing you have no idea what goes on. Don’t do it at all as it’s traumatic for your child, but if your going to regardless stop by a few times unannounced and observe what’s going on.

They may have experience, your toddler does not. Therefore it is traumatic for your toddler for you to leave them with someone they don't know.

It's cruel and traumatizing and can have lasting effects.

If family doesn't want to, try to find a friend who would swap and who you can return the favor for. Or a neighbor. But someone your child knows.

This. Thanks for writing this out. Please rethink your plan of leaving your toddler. It can leave real emotional baggage for your child.

Be careful. I had a horrible experience. Yes, even though these places advertise that they are experienced

She doesn't allow people inside. Makes you drop off the child outside.

Please please, those who say it traumatized the kids. It doesn't leave any lasting effects. If it did by your child it wasn't the babysitter. It was some some other issue and you're looking to blame it on something or you don't want to acknowledge the real reason you child has an issue. Because leaving a toddler by a good babysitter is not the reason.
And just so you know, before you jump down somebody's back for leaving a kid by a babysitter, there are some real reasons even non emergency reasons why someone would need to do so. Not everybody has a choice to keep the kid home, not everyone has a choice to not go away. It may seem to you that it's not so, but not everything is so black-and-white as it may seem
