What did you do about it? What would someone do if they had a $5,000-$10,000 wig cut badly?

When was it?
Give it time. Don't do anything drastic yet. Put it away and pull it out a few days later ans reevaluate. Any step you take can make it even worse

Ouch
Take it to an expert
Sometimes it can be fixed or used as a second sheitel with another cut
Otherwise yikes give it away or sell it
My sympathies!

I did. I wore it because I didn't have anything else for shabbos and weddings. I was very unhappy every time I put it on.

Was it due to instructions you gave whoever cut it and it turns out the style isn’t good for you? We’re you there while she was cutting?
I know someone who asked for something specifically and did not get what she asked for, shorter than asked and with bangs. She tried to return it and get a full refund but the woman refused and I believe she ended up taking her to bes din
