Fri nt after the meal I forgot to put the chicken soup in the fridge. It was out until around six when dh got up. I didn't even smell yet- think it's okay to eat still or do I need to throw it out?

Nope
Even if it smells and tastes fine it's not safe. The bacteria and toxins that can make you sick or kill you don't have a taste or smell. (Different than food spoilage bacteria)
Even if you boil it to death it doesn't destroy the toxins created by the bacteria. Not safe. Throw it out!

Throw it out. It is a super common cause of food poisoning why risk it?
