Can you share your experience/expertise with family vacation (teens) to the Bahamas? Not looking to spend an insane fortune.

We went 10 years ago. We had a great time. Just be aware that if smirat eynayim is a big thing to you, it will be a challenge.

Atlantis is amazing. There are great deals to be had.

Though I agree with the above comment. It’s a Caribbean island resort and people dress accordingly

It's a great destination, but I would never travel there with teen boys.

I went without kids, but we had a fantastic time. Husband is very careful with shmiras einayim, so for that reason we didn't stay in a hotel, even though we have millions of points. We got a gorgeous airbnb on the other side of the island (the wealthier, private side) and made sure to look up beaches where there wouldn't be as many people. Bh it worked out well. (We liked Bermuda better though!)

I'm confused, you wouldn't travel there with teenage boys but it's ok for your husband to go? I would think married men should even be more careful. I'm asking in all honesty.

We went and stayed in Atlantis. It was fun but very commercialized. I wasn’t so impressed. Great for kids, not as great for adults (in my opinion).
