Hi- looking to relocate to Florida! Does anyone have any info on the below questions:
- What’s the community type
- Is there a place we can stay for shabbos to check it out?
Thanks in advance!

NMB and Boca are two entirely separate communities, and even within each you still have different types.

Both are fast growing communities.
Boca is a chofetz Chaim crowd nicer housing.
NMB has more communities surrounding it so there are larger schools, more shuls etc.
Place to stay? If you pm me I can try to help you.

Some high school girls do commute from boca to Miami daily so there are connections

I know many people in Boca, none are Chofetz Chaim crowd. My friends are all MO.
Isn't BRS the largest shul there? It's YU rabbis, not CC.

Boca has a CC crowd, as does NMB, but neither are a CC community, per se. Both have a YI, although the rabbi of YO in NMB passed away in April and I don’t know if they have a permanent replacement yet.

I dont think YIGM has a permanent rav yet. Rabbi galandhauer (not sure of spelling) has been the interim rabbi

Who is the permanent replacement? Or are you saying they merged with KC?

Yes, Rav Feldbrand is the new permanent Rav. His wife's name is Chavy. She is absolutely lovely. We bought a house in NMB and iyH moving there from NY

Much much Mazel. When it was the right time it worked out. You have to work fast. A family member is a real estate agent and my husband and I were following the market closely. When it was the right time it really all fell into place. We bought just outside the chulent (NMB/tip of Miami Gardens Dr). It is walking distance to khal chasidim though BH.
