I found it online, but not on Jewish sites. The words might be slightly different than you remember.

Forgive Me When I Whine

version 1

Today upon a bus, I saw
A lovely maid with golden hair;
I envied her—she seemed so gay—
And oh, I wished I were so fair.
When suddenly she rose to leave,
I saw her hobble down the aisle;
She had one foot and wore a crutch,
But as she passed, a smile.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine;
I have two feet—the world is mine.

And when I stopped to buy some sweets,
The lad who served me had such charm.
He seemed to radiate good cheer
His manner was so kind and warm.
I said, “It’s nice to deal with you,
Such, courtesy I seldom find.”
He turned and said, “Oh, thank you, sir!”
And I saw that he was blind.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine;
I have two eyes—the world is mine.

Then, when walking down the street,
I saw a child with eyes of blue.
He stood and watched the others play;
It seemed he knew not what to do,
I stopped a moment, then I said:
“Why don’t you join the others, dear?”
He looked ahead without a word,
And then I knew; He could not hear.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine;
I have two ears—the world is mine.

With feet to take me where I’d go,
With eyes to see the sunset’s glow,
With ears to hear what I should know:
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I’m blessed indeed. The world is mine.

version 2

Today upon a bus,
I saw a girl with golden hair,
and wished I was as fair.
When suddenly she rose to leave,
I saw her hobble down the aisle.
She had one leg and wore a crutch.
But as she passed, a smile.

Oh God, forgive me when I whine,
I have 2 legs, the world is mine.

I stopped to buy some candy.
The lad who sold it had such charm.
I talked with him, he seemed so glad.
If I were late, it'd do no harm.
And as I left, he said to me,
"I thank you, you've been so kind.
It's nice to talk with folks like you.
You see," he said, "I'm blind."

Oh God, forgive me when I whine.
I have 2 eyes, the world is mine.

Later while walking down the street,
I saw a child with eyes of blue.
He stood and watched the others play.
He did not know what to do.
I stopped a moment and then I said,
"Why don't you join the others, dear?"
And then I knew, he couldn't hear.

Oh God, forgive me when I whine.
I have 2 ears, the world is mine.

With feet to take me where I'd go.
With eyes to see the sunset's glow.
With ears to hear what I'd know.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I've been blessed indeed, the world is mine.

Don't remember all the words but I think this is the chorus

I have two hands two feet
Forgive me when I whine
I can feel and hear and see
The world is mine

This is the version I have:

I watched the sunset with its brilliant hues of red
'look at brias hashem' I turned around and said
A man lifted his eyes he lookes so very kind
his face was blank and then I knew that he was blind

chorus:
I have 2 hands 2 feet
forgive me when whine,
I can hear and feel and see the world is mine

Today in shul I saw a boy with golden hair,
he looked so strong and tall
I wished I was so fair
when suddenly he took his crutch
and hobbled down the aisle
he only had one leg
but as he passed he smiled.

chorus.

The music plays for me
its joyful melody
I dance and sing and feel as carefree as can be.
my neighbor sits with me but he is not aware,
the music's not for him
I know he cannot hear.

chorus.
