The mom came to school? Or the friend? Or both?

The mother who has it came to school or her daughter? Because according to CDC & Fauci, if they are vaccinated, its okay for non sick household members. And if you go by countries who recognize natural immunity, it is stronger than the vaccine.
However, if the sick person came, so not okay.
You call the school office and calmly tell them what happened and that you are very upset. They send policy reminder to all parents. But don't name names, it won't help.

Perhaps she was tested and came back negative. I know someone who had Covid and asked about kids feeling fine. Dr said test the kids and if they’re negative you can send them but test every day/other day until it’s 7 days past their last exposure.

My friend has covid now. Her kids were tested for antibodies as soon as she found out. They have a lot of antibodies and were told therefore they can go to school. Are you sure you know the whole story? Because many doctors are allowing it if certain criteria is met.

Do the children have antibodies? If yes, I would not get too excited.
What is the schools official policy?

If kids are negative and/or have antibodies there’s no reason for them not to be in school. Why are you fuming? What makes you think the daughter is contagious just because her mom has covid?

Maybe they have antibodies. Maybe they had covid over sukkot before the mom and that's where mom caught it from. Maybe they test daily and are negative.

Maybe being sick with covid it was too hard foe her to care for her kids at home. Who cares if she makes other people sick. That is their problem, not hers.

I know in lkwd there are licensed pediatricians saying this is okay. As long as no symptoms snd schools saying to do whatever dr says. (Some drs say no quarantine and some say 14 days - it’s a bit crazy)
Or it could be they are recently recovered from covid themselves and gave to mother.

How do you know they are contagious?
The kids are not for sure contagious.
They may become contagious if they catch it.
They may never catch it and never become contagious.
They may have had it on succos and been contagious then but not now.
Also if she got covid symptoms Thursday she can test kids on day 5 days later. And they can go to school. So that would be today. Not so hard.

Is everyone really ok with this CDC policy? How is this not putting people in danger?

You the cdc really cares about your health? It's all about control. Once people take the vaccine they achieved their goal.
