My husband worked there and was impressed. He said the rebbeim really care about the boys and there is a sincerity there.

would you find any chassidish heimish families in the school? do they soeak yiddish?

Not chassidish or heimish the rebbeim are mostly chassidish.
I have been sending my boys there for years and have been so amazed and impressed by everyone there.
They know every boy very well and are always on top of every situation.

Chassidish boys no, a few heimish. They teitch into Yiddish, but don't speak it when teaching. Few if any boys speak Yiddish at home. Many of the Rebbeim are Chassidish.

How are the class sizes?
Goes through 8th grade?
How are the english studies (academics)?

2 classes per grade through 8th grade
They have a high school/mesivta at a different location which is very good
Not much in the english department though and not all the boys go to their high school.
The english curiculum in elementary is not that great either but its decent enough.
Everyone there rebbeim teachers and menahalim are especially caring for every child.

A lot of kids from Bensonhurst, chasidish rebbeim. Few if any boro park boys.
