So who do u recommend?

I wish I can help you out! I don't live there anymore.. But I have traveled to Dr lightman when one of my children had a concern..
The Dr situation is really horrible all over. Not enough Dr's and alot of children.. So most have only PAs working in the office.

If you are prepared to travel a little, consider East Rockaway Pediatrics. They have 2 males and 2 females and I've been very happy with them. They are definitely covid cautious but I just go with it.

Dr Ash…he only tested my kids when he had a reason to and they actually did have Covid…we switched from Long Island Pediatrics because of insurance issues where we used Dr Stu but because my girls were getting bigger, I was about to start using Dr Marie Schroeder from the practice for check ups who is wonderful also

I had other issues with simai not sure you will love him based on your posts. I don't have anyone to recommend because I switched to rosenberg and I was so happy with him and then I moved around the time he closed his practice.

He doesn't give covid tests for every sniffle and is not a covid hypochondriac

He doesn't insist that everybody wears a mask in the office- he does wear a mask

You know the covid crazy type- that's not him- that's all I'm saying

My kids are much older and no longer need a pediatrician . When they did , I loved Pediatric Healthcare of LI. Main docs are Schlusselberg and Green. They always have a few younger docs on staff including females. Very thorough . Caught some possibly big things and sent me to great specialists when needed.
