DD is a senior and we need to fill out the FAFSA it he hopes of getting aid for college. If I'm correct, she's actually the one who fills it out, and she needs to provide a of parental info such as income and assets. Is there a way to do this so that I can fill it out and she doesn't see those numbers? Can I create an account with her name but only I know the login? It seems weird to me to turn all of that info over to her.

You fill out FAFSA, not the child.

So you offer to fill it out for her, I don’t think you can make two separate accounts so just do it either with her or for her if that helps.

We did it for our children.
Most of our friends did as well.
Our children do not know our finances.

There are two ways to fill out the FAFSA - as the parent and as the student. When you go to the website, it asks you which you are, so they are expecting that many parents will fill it out.

You can fill it out as a parent.
