If I want to make an odd amount of oz, how should I measure out the formula? Just estimate half a scoop for 1oz water or is there a better way?

Depending on the age of the child and how sensitive they are I would either estimate half (older child, err on the side of less, not a big deal in 7 oz bottle). Or I would make the extra ounce to be careful. I’ve also premixed formula (they sell special pitchers) for a few bottles at a time then refrigerate for up to 24 hours and warm up as needed.

I always just did half a scoop. Never had an issue with it. Now I use kendamil, which is 1 scoop per ounce, which makes it easier
