If you work for a frum magazine, what’s the standard compensation for articles for steady writers?
Neither world famous writers nor beginners. But those whom the magazine reaches out to and whose work is valued.
I had an editor reach out to me and I’m wondering how to make it worth my while. Of course I’d love to be paid generously, but I’d like my proposal to be within fair range.
Please share. Thank you.

Unfortunately, compensation per article is pretty minimal. Even if you're a great writer, I wouldn't expect to get more than 15 cents per word. Sometimes you can get more if it's not regular content, but an advertorial.
Are you on Soferet? It's a great resource for writers!
