When you pick them up from daycare is it clean or still full of gunk? (3yo)

Depends on the day. Sometimes things were too hectic before pickup time for the Morah to clean it so it's dirty but often it's clean. I don't have any expectations either way, I know Morahs can't do everything

Their morah teaches them to clean their noses. There's a song about getting tissues when their noses are runny.

bump...
my baby is 8 months and started @ the babysitter
my baby always comes home clean bh
but she has a cold now and has a runny nose
when I picked her her nose was runny- is it the morahs responsibility to clean her nose every time it drips?

My baby also has a runny nose now. IME its impossible to clean it every time it drips. And thats just me with one baby to watch. I dont think its fair to expect the morah to do a better job than I would.

I'm a babysitter. I always wear a hoodie or something and one pocket is full of clean tissues, and I put the used tissues in the other pocket until I can get to the garbage can (across the room, high up so no one eats from it).
It's cold season, and I'm constantly wiping drippy noses.
However some babies, especially when they're teething are like a neverending faucet. I can wipe at 2:59, and by the time the mother comes at 3:00, he needs a tissue again.
I'd hate to be yelled at by that parent that im neglectful.

Of course we wipe noses constantly, but they’re faucets. Not reasonable to expect it to be clean when you pick up because they probably wiped the nose 3 minutes ago. She’s going to arrive with a drippy nose too and that’s okay (although extra nice if you wipe it as you walk in).

Moms should all have a nose frida/sucker. Minimizes the amount of times wiping noses per day

I think if a runny nose is constantly running, it's fine if it's clearly just dripped again. It's the obviously not been wiped for a while that's not good.
