The Chabad there has a very good minyan system, call the rabbi. He’s also particularly helpful.

You need to plan well and be flexible with driving times. There are not so many choices about minyan times in the cities you pass through so you may have to hang around for longer to catch a Mincha for example.

On the way up it might be easier to leave after the first Maariv and drive though the night.

Cities with minyanim further upstate include Binghamton, Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo; but most have only one time each tefillah per day. (May need to wear masks at many shuls just be aware to bring.)

Chabad in Niagara could tell you about minyan there, or worst case you would need to drive into Buffalo to daven.

We always stop in Binghamton, it's basically halfway from NY, the chabad is right off the highway and they have a decent sized shul. Call them for minyan advice.

Much harder issue to work out is the border - it may or may not be open, may require expensive testing and/or quarantining. And the American side is not too exciting on it's own...

Just making you aware it's going to be cold by the water this time of year.

Bring a jacket or coat!

Yes, multiple Chabad houses and a young Israel. Look up rabbis Gurary, Greenberg or labkowski depending on where in buffalo you will be.
