Close relative.

Can you describe dresses (and shoes, tights) that I should be looking at?

If you want to be trendy, a knit romper with tights underneath. If you want more classy, a nice two piece knit. 18 month olds don’t need to be in a dress or gown no matter how close the wedding. She’ll probably be in a stroller most of the time and be sleeping through half the wedding. Tbh I don’t take kids this age to close weddings but you do you.

A lot of the stores have gorgeous holiday dresses out. You can't go wrong with a velour and tulle combination.

What's your budget?

I only want a dress. (My only girl among boys Smile )

She will have a nap that day hopefully, there will be pictures, she’ll be at the wedding at least until right after the Chupah.

Is she walking? Dresses on such young babies don't really look good. You need to know how to pull it off. You can do a really short tulle dress with a bloomer panty underneath. Cute socks (not tights) and matching shoes. A cute headband or hair accessory.

The dresses I saw are all light pink, short sleeves. It’s going to be winter. Do I care? We will be indoors…

It’s really pricey. But let’s say I did it- if I could even find it in her size- is that good for winter? Which shoes and socks should I do?

These used to be on the cheaper end. I have no idea how much they are now but if you scroll down you'll see some shorter ones for toddlers.

You probably could make one like this by yourself though! Just buy a shell and a lot of tulle and have someone sew it together for you. Then add something on the shell like flowers.
