There's no one size fits all teenagers. Especially because each one comes with its own crowd of influencing friends.
You daven that whatever you've taught them in their first ten years of life will stay with them at the right times because after that they suddenly become the smartest people ever known (to themselves).
You put them in the best environment where they will spend most of their waking hours.
You empower them with self-respect and trust and a sense of responsibility so that they can be confident in their good choices.
And you are there when they fall to help them get back on their feet and keep trying.
