If your kid(s) tested positive for COVID-19 what were their symptoms?
Asking because my 2 boys are not feeling well and it seems to be a stomach virus. We all just automatically assume covid.
Their symptoms are fever. Diahrrea. And vomiting.
(We are self quarantining like we always do when any of us are not feeling well)
Can we please stick to the questions asked. Please don't turn this into a covid debate.
Extra appreciation for responses from medical professionals.

Around pesach 2020 when we had covid some of my children had upset stomach and another a fever and cough for a few days. Some had no symptoms. Never tested them as it wasn't possible at thst time.
I wouldn't assume fever and stomach ache is covid. Why don't you get a test, they are very accurate and like this you don't need to isolate without reason. Or if it's the flu you can get the children tamiflu. Refuah shleima

almost none but we tested him because adults and older kid were unwell and they were also positive. My 8 year old was tired and headachy for a few hours and than bounced back.

One night, tired and had chills but no fever.
Next morning a low fever. Also tired and somewhat lethargic.
We only took a test because he was in quarantine, having been exposed to a teacher that tested positive. It came out positive.
He was better within about 24 hours so if we hadn't tested then, we would never have known.

1 had a stomach virus 4 days before she tested positive. No symptoms while positive for 10 days. Except for a distorted sense of taste.
The other one just felt run down and had a little congestion of the nose. But nothing else. Just that look on the face where you look run down, you know?

My kids were tested because a kid in their carpool had it. The one who tested positive had some nasal congestion and that’s it.

None of my kids ever tested positive but at least one has antibodies (I only checked one for antibodies, the rest didn't want their blood taken)
After racking my brain as to when this child could have had covid, I concluded that maybe the one day he was insanely nauseous (no fever- just nausea) could have been covid. It lasted less than 24 hours. He had horrible nausea and was exhausted.
So either that or he was asymptomatic.

My daughter had fever and complained about stomach pains. After a couple of days her throat started hurting as well as her ears and got a bad cough. Tested negative for strep, positive for covid.

My 7 year old had a low fever and mild cough. My toddler had severe shortness of breath, throwing up, cough, high fever, and was very sick for close to 2 weeks.

Quoting my post to update that around day 6-7 after testing 3 kids spiked a fever and one ultimately developed cold symptoms-cough/runny nose.

Did your toddler receive remdesivir?
