Looking for a good, lightweight moisturizer to apply under my makeup. Something not expensive.

Any links would be appreciated.

Thank you!

CeraVe am and pm versions. Cheap. Top rated. Lightweight.

The versions that have AM and PM on the bottle. There's only one version of each.

Soak It Up by Colourpop. The directions say to apply, wait 5 minutes, and then wash it off.

I have extremely dry skin, so I just pat it dry before I put on my foundation. I helps the makeup blend beautifully, and keeps it from looking chalky. Set with powder, and you're good for the day.

At night, fresh out of the shower, I put it on and just let it stay there. It disappears pretty quickly. I also use it on my elbows, cuticles, and on small patches of psoriasis.

Somewhat OT, has anyone suddenly developed psoriasis after having Covid? I've never had it before, and now I have 5 patches that are about an inch across, or a bit bigger.

I get some beauty boxes and so have tried a lot of moisturizers.

I really like the gel type of moisturizers as I don't need anything really heavy and creamy. I have specific recommendations of ones that I liked but not sure what you mean by inexpensive since moisturizers can be $10 to $250 :-)

Not sure what kind of skin you have but mine is really sensitive. I have tried cetaphil and it gave me pimples, cerave pm was quite good (the AM was too thick for me. I think it has sunscreen in it). My favorite that I settled on is vanicream. They used to call it vanicream lite lotion that came in a large white pump bottle. I think it no longer has the word lite on it but still the same bottle.

I read that they are all the same and that people who buy oil of Olay or other expensive ones are just wasting their money.

I also like gel moisturizes. Can you list some of the ones you recommend? Thanks!

Oil of Olay is not expensive.

They all mousturize, but they are not identical. Some are heavy and greasy, some are lighter. Some may have a scent which irritates some people's skin, etc.

I LOVE Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture for Sensitive Skin. Moisturizes but doesn't make me break out, and I can use easily over the serum of my choice.
