im an OT and my last day of work was june
I went on unemployment as did the other therapists in my agency

june-november I was unemployed

and my issue is I havent seen a 1$ from them!!! I filed my claims every week and called about 4x a day. each time I get "we are experiencing a high # of callers plz try ur call again later" and it hangs up on me

bh I got through to someone about 2 months ago to ask where my money was, they told me that there was a mistake in my claim and they fixed it and will review and it takes 6-8 weeks usually...

its been longer than 8 weeks and I still dont have a penny!

they owe me over 3,000k. money that we really need!

GOOD LUCK!

Last time I got someone, they said it may be easier now getting through to someone because the ending of the extra unemployment. But it’s still just as hard Banging head

you would think!!! ive been calling every day 3x a day since june and only reached someone 2 months ago! im really annoyed bc I pay taxes and im eligible for this

Ask for help from a local frum politician. They have people in their offices who can advocate for you.

Call at 7:50/8 am in the morning when it first opens up, and call Thursday or Friday easier to get through then beginning of week.

If you have the option for different languages, try to get through to another random language, even if you don't speak it. Most likely those lines are not as busy and the person who answers knows some English and can help you.
