I'm looking for suggestions for toys/activities for an almost 3 year old and a 5 year old. Preferably something they can do relatively independently. Extra plus if educational!

Get a subscription to Kiwi Box or Steve Spangler. Both have educational projects for all ages. I love both of them, so you can't go wrong.

Ikea has a mat/rug with streets. That with some matchbox cars and mentchies keep my toddler busy for a while
