Someone in my neighborhood was giving away some bags of beautiful brand name clothing. I took it and am going through to see what fits and I found a gorgeous Oscar De La Renta kimono. Which, ok ... then I found the matching piece that goes under.
My sister says THROW IT OUT! but its gorgeous and clean and probably too expensive for me to toss now that it's in my house. And I would feel weird passing it onto the next person....
Or is that really not ok and I should get rid of it....

Just don’t tell ur DH cuz he might feel weird about it.

I personally have no problem with hand me downs that are clean and in good condition.

If it grosses you out, don't use it - but I think you should pass on to the next person because they might not have your hangups and would be thrilled at such a find.

Wash it well in really hot water (maybe wash a few times until you feel more comfortable) and enjoy!

I wouldn't be able to wear it. It's like wearing someone else's underwear.

Underwear should not be passed from person to person but as long as it's not underwear, it's probably safe.
There are lists online of what it's safe to buy second hand and it nixes underwear and shoes due to bacteria.

Perhaps wash with cold with antibacterial dish detergent

It actually doesn't have the panty part.... just the top.

I wash almost everything before I wear it.

If I buy a bra in Macy’s, how do I know that nobody else tried it on? How do I know that the sales girl didn’t sneeze and then hang it up on the rack, and re-hang it up a couple of times as it fell off the rack over the past few weeks it’s been there?
