I can answer 2-I’m a twin and have twins also conceived with fertility meds. Everyone asks me if it runs in the family and I just shrug it off but want to say that the fertility issues are what’s genetic.

She had number 5&6 with the oldest one being 5 yrs old. Several of her siblings also had twins.

my mother in law found out that she was having twins by an xray close to the birth of my husbamd and his faternal twin sister -sixty three years ago

That's so interesting. My MIL A"H was a (fraternal) twin. I wonder if any of my DD's will have twins.

Fraternal twins. First pregnancy. We had joked about it and then found it it was two… the shock…
Once we found out I did research and turns out fraternal is genetic from the mother (two eggs ovulate) and is passed through genetically but is only ‘active’ in the girl.
Turns out my grandmother has a couple of sets of twin cousins not sure if that counts as genetic.
