Currently keeping them in boxes but half of them are out of season at any given time... It's a pity to use so much space in my closet, but my storage space is also limited. How can I safely storage them? If I put them into bags and push it into (very full) storage boxes will they be ruined??

Can you stuff them with tissue paper or store socks in the shoes so that they maintain their shape?
I personally don't have more than about a half dozen pairs of shoes and I put them in a plastic basket.

Can you do over the door shoe pockets and hang over your closet door?

Thanks for the idea, but I personally really dislike the look of this in my closet.

Find someplace else to store the off season shoes in their boxes. Under your bed. In the back of a different closet.

My "storage" space is all in boxes in my already full closet. I currently keep them there in the shoe boxes, but I feel like the boxes are a waste of space. Was thinking to put them into bags and keep them in my regular storage boxes... wanted to know if that will ruin shoes. Southernbubby suggested stuffing them up, seems like a good idea to me.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated!
