Looking for new dentist for my kids. Dr. Semah isn't taking new patients. I'm unsure about going to Dr. Jay. Any other ideas. Should be a pediatric dentist.

Im at one of them and have private insurance. I don't want a dentist that takes jerseycare. Theres definitely a difference in the amount of time they give per patient .

Assuming you use him, is he good with kids that have a hard time?

He has treated my girls for close to 20 years. He's amazing with them.

Jackson pediatric dentistry does not list Dr. Figdor - Is there a different name for that practice?

I am looking for a good pediatric dentist that DOES take jersey care

Sorry Dr figdor is his own practice. Dr Nassi figdor ik ppl r rly happy w him and he takes jersey care too.

I went to Dr Jay as a kid and my siblings use him now...he himself is getting older and u fortunately less patience I find Sad n he has his daughter treat now too which I hear from my sisters tht they don't love her but theee may be other dentists tht practice there now too idk exactly. He is very expensive too. My parents have private insurance and ik my father says tht hee bills the insurance thru the roof. But I think he's honest and doesn't make cavities and is very good clinically at wat he does...

I was just recommended to Ocean Pediatric in Toms River . They dont take alot of insurances but allow you to benefit from your insurance somehow (not jerseycare, but if you have a PPO)
