I so get it. I also have multiple kids struggling with multiple types of health issues and some seem more pressing than others. What kind of issues do your other kids struggle with? It could be you’re a lyme or strep or mold family.

Im so sorry. Its hard.
As I said. We are on a break from treatment and making appointments with all the specialists referred to.
I get it.

Have you considered mold- and that the children are possibly all effected.
Its very hard but trying the aip anti inflammatory diet seems to help. Although its really hard.

Id love to go the alternative route at this point. Waiting for funds…
Good luck!!

So far aside for a few bone X-rays I was told to take my well adjusted, well behaved child to a social worker.

Regarding Motrin, pain relievers can also help block emotional pain, so the fact that it helps your son calm down is nothing more than a red herring because it can mean several contradictory things.

I agree with everyone who says that even emotional/psychosomatic pain is REAL pain.

As a child, I had intermittent severe pain in my legs and back, as well as shortness of breath (and an increasingly severe list of symptoms) that turned out to be leukemia. Doctors dismissed my symptoms for months because it would come and go, and invariably, when we'd arrive to the appointment, I would be fine. This is definitely not the case with your son because something this serious wouldn't last for years, but my point is, intermittent symptoms can point to real health problems and should be taken seriously.

Wow
Do you mind sharing more-
Like how long was this intermittent pain going on for and how were you ultimately diagnosed?

In your first op all you write is that he has complaints and you convince him out of them.

Please take him seriously.

Just saw this.

It's not really letoeles for OP, so I'd rather not distract from that.
