I started to patch my baby's eye
Does anyone have advice of how I can remove the patch without hurting her?
Ive been rubbing the corners with baby oil but she still screams and I dont want to hurt her
were using ortopad

I’ve heard people say they stick it to their shirt before putting it on the baby’s face so it’s less sticky and hurts less when they pull it off.

Poor baby, she has no idea what's going on.
She may be sensitive to the adhesive. Call your doctor's office and ask them if they have anything for delicate skin.

I'm pretty sure a different brand might solve your problem. I used the ones with cute designs that were pretty expensive. I can't ever remember it hurting my child when I removed them.

she cries when I put it on and shes playing on the floor now
dreading removing it tho

Try an adhesive barrier first- before putting on patch

I put it on my clothes first, which definitely helps, and to remove it I pull it off quickly and then put pressure on with my hand for a second or two, and distract him quickly. Even if it hurt him to take it off, he's happy and smiling again after that. I'm still experimenting with different brands, but if they come off too easily then he pulls them off himself, which is not good either!
