I'm getting tired of my same salmon recipe (think teriyaki week in and week out.)
Anyone have any interesting saucy salmon recipe that doesn't have foreign ingredients and is simple to make? A recipe of a breaded salmon with a sauce also works....
TIA!

Yes it sounds like OP would like this saucy one. You can use ketchup instead of mustard in the sauce. My husband who likes sweet and basic liked it with ketchup in the sauce (instead of mustard) when I made it for him.

I do sweet chili sauce-pour sauce over salmon and put into oven. Really nice flavor but takes seconds.
BY cookbook has a nice sweet and tangy sauce-very basic and nice.
I also made one with equal parts honey and soy sauce with some garlic-mix and pour over.

The sweet chili is not too spicy?

So ironically, I did have another recipe that I've been making frequently that was similar to this... was hoping to find a spin off type of recipe with a sauce but thank you for your help!

Sounds interesting to use ketchup instead... you also used the dipping sauce when making it or just the sauce to bread it? Qsking since I can't imagine having the sauce poured on top after the salmon is made.

This sounds awesome... the dressing allows crispy fried onions to stay in place though?

They stay on. If you serve fresh they stay crispy. I’ve also one put the onions on right before serving and baked with only dressing so they should be crispy because once you cover the pan they become softer though it still tastes good it just doesn’t have that crunch.

I made large cubes of salmon (removed skin) and breaded all sides. Set aside extra sauce to serve on the side for dipping.

I look for different salad dressings and marinades to pour over salmon.

I make a lot at a time, and freeze in small containers.
It's delicious.

Do you have estimated measurements?

Equal amounts with a generous sprinkle of garlic.
I don’t measure. I pour into plastic bowl approximate amounts. It’s very forgiving.

I know this is old but how would you freeze this? Just pour the sauce over and freeze the salmon like that? How would you defrost?
