When referring to various extravagances and spending styles in our community, he mentioned balloons at Brisses. What did he mean?

I'm assuming he means elaborate balloon arrangements. I can't imagine he's referring to bunches of balloons here and there or on a table.

I’m assuming ballon arches or Baby name done in balloons (assuming family had tradition about choosing family name)
Or just print on balloons custom logo designed for the bris. Besides for using the logo on all napkins and custom cookies it also printed on balloons placed on each table.
You can find example on Instagram.

Thx. Just curious because I'm not in NY and he wrote about it like it's a thing that everyone does.

Please do not get carried away with an example that he was using to make a point. Take the point. Leave the example. Use your brain!
